Avatar The Way Of Water: As The Teaser Drops, Pandora's Next War Promises A Visual Treat
One of the Hollywood's most experiemented science-fiction Avatar The Way of Water has been the most awaited movie of the year. On Monday, the teaser of the movie was dropped and it is a treat for the sore eyes. Promising a visual extravaganza like never before, James Cameron's first film in the Avatar franchise was released in 2009.
The first part was based on humans invading the Pandora's unobtanium precious minerals and trying to take control over the local tribe Na'vi. The Avatar sequel hints on the Pandora war where there will be a fight for its survival.
The description of the trailer talks about the forthcoming war and it reads, "Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, 'Avatar: The Way of Water' begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure."
With the original leading pair of Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana portraying as Jake Sully and Neytiri, there's a new addition to the cast - Kate Winslet. Playing a pivotal role as Ronal, the actress reunites with director James Cameron after 25 long years post their multiple Oscar winning blockbuster Titanic which was released in 1997.
Collecting $2.8 billion worldwide, Avatar became the hightest-grossing film of all time. Slated to release on December 16, 2022, the subsequent films in the franchise Avatar 3, Avatar 4, and Avatar 5 will hit the theatres in 2024, 2026, and 2028 respectively.
